Susah Buang Air Besar

Kenapa susah buang air besar terutama saat berpuasa, pertanyaan ini sering dilontarkan pada saya.

Susah buang air besar atau disebut Konstipasi / Constipation adalah keadaan dimana kotoran atau faeces mengalami pengerasan sehingga sulit dibuang. Bisa juga pada saat buang air besar terasa sakit sekali.

Ada beberapa penyebab yang mengakibatkan konstipasi diantaranya adalah perubahan pola makan, akibat efek samping obat obatan, hormonal atau akibat adanya kelainan anatomis pada saluran pencernaan.

Pada saat puasa konstipasi cenderung meningkat disebabkan beberapa faktor:

1. Saat berpuasa, terjadi kecenderungan kurang gerak, ini akan membuat pergerakan pencernaan kurang baik. Solusinya perlu dilakukan olah raga ringan seperti jalan kaki.


2. Sering terjadi kurang minum air putih. Kekurangan air pada tubuh dapat mengakibatkan
konstipasi. Secara normal, tubuh kita memerlukan minum enam sampai delapan gelas atau sekitar 1,5 liter sehari. Solusinya banyakin minum air pada saat waktu buka puasa sampai sahur.

3. Lebih banyak makan golongan kue daripada sayuran, sehingga terjadi kurang serat pada pen
cernaan. Solusinya disamping makan kue perbanyak makan dari golongan serat terutama
biji-bijian, buah, sayuran, kacang-kacangan. Makanan golongan ini dapat meningkatkan gerakan
usus sehingga akan meningkatkan massa tinja dan mengurangi waktu transit di usus. Tetapi tanpa cairan yang cukup serat ini akan sia sia juga.

Yang mendasari terjadinya konstipasi adalah perubahan pola makan. Disamping itu biasanya adalah mengkonsumsi obat obatan tertentu seperti golongan antidepresi, obat parkinson, obat yang mengandung zat besi, obat antihipertensi, obat golongan antikolinergik dan golongan narkotik. Misalnya sangat memerlukan obat tersebut sebaik dapat dilakukan pengurangan dosis atau dengan menggantinya.

Jadi apabila sedang berpuasa jangan lupa perhatikan jenis makanannya, yang pasti harus tinggi serat dan minum harus cukup biar tidak terjadi susah buang air besar.

Ada sedikit tips untuk mengurangi terjadinya konstipasi, minumlah minuman yang mengandung bakteri asam laktat ( Lactobacillus/Bifidobacteria ) seperti Yakult, Charm atau Yogurt, karena minuman ini dapat menyeimbangkan flora usus disamping itu dapat mengurangi pembusukan sisa makanan diusus sehingga dapat mengurangi terjadinya konstipasi atau susah buang air besar.
