Fenomena Artis Terjun ke Politik

Panggung politik dalam negeri belakangan ini makin diramaikan kehadiran artis. Tak ada yang tahu pasti apakah ketertarikan sejumlah selebritis itu terjun ke politik karena sekadar memanfaatkan popularitas ataukah memang punya kapasitas. Yang pasti, pentas politik negeri ini diwarnai fenomena baru, yakni "selebritis politik". Dan, fenomena artis terjun ke politik tampaknya bakal semakin tak terbendung. Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN) merupakan salah satu partai yang banyak dilirik kalangan artis untuk terjun ke panggung politik. Pada pemilu 2009 mendatang, sedikitnya 20 artis telah menyatakan siap menjadi caleg dari PAN untuk kursi DPR RI. Antara lain Derry Dradjat dari daerah pemilihan (dapil) Jawa Barat, Ardian Maulana (Sumatera Barat), Eko Patrio (Jawa Timur), Marini Zumarnis dan Wanda Hamidah (DKI), Wulan Guritno (Jawa Tengah), Ikang Fauzi (Banten), dan pelawak Cahyono (Jawab Barat). Banyaknya artis yang bergabung dengan PAN, sampai-sampai ada yang memplesetkan singkatan PAN menjadi ‘Partai Artis Nasional’.

Seolah tak mau kalah dengan PAN, sejumlah parpol lain juga mengusung caleg dari kalangan artis. PPP, misalnya, menggandeng Marissa Haque, Evie Tamala, Lyra Virna, Ferry Irawan, Okky Asokawati, Ratih Sanggarwati, dan Julia Perez. Sementara Partai Golkar mencalonkan Tantowi Yahya, Jeremy Thomas, dan Nurul Arifin.

Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa (PKB) pun ikut memburu artis. Sejauh ini, artis yang sudah mendaftar adalah Teuku Firmansyah. foto lyra virnaSedangkan Partai Bintang Reformasi (PBR) menawari Dewi Yull sebagai caleg. Sementara Partai Damai Sejahtera (PDS) mendaulat Maya Rumantir, Bella Saphira, dan Tessa Kaunang menjadi kader partai sekaligus caleg mereka.

Tak hanya membidik kursi legislatif, sejumlah selebritis juga mencoba peruntungan dalam pemilihan kepala daerah (pilkada). Sebut saja Primus Yustisio, Syaiful Jamil, dan Ayu Soraya. Sebelumnya, Dede Yusuf sukses menduduki kursi wakil gubernur Jabar. Sementara Rano Karno terpilih menjadi wakil bupati Tangerang.

Apakah kehadiran para selebritis itu sekedar pajangan untuk mendulang suara dalam pemilu ataukah mereka memang memiliki kemampuan menjadi politikus atau pemimpin? Kita tunggu saja. (source: sinarharapan/waspada/kapanlagi)
